



M.O.V.I.N.G. Six-Step Social Creation Framework

Phase 1: Online Launch
Actively encourage students to participate in the M.O.V.E. E-course, consisting of 4 modules (approx. 20 mins each) covering Design Thinking, Technology Application (AI), Technology Ethics, Financial Literacy and Empathy. (E-certificates issued upon completion.)
Phase 2: Environmental & Social Innovation Challenge
Students form teams of four to submit proposals. A total of 120 selected teams will each be led by a teacher to participate in a two‑day in‑person Bootcamp with professional mentoring. Accompanying teachers must support and assist students in attending competition-related activities and other offline events.
The Challenge aims to develop students’ adaptability and resilience, strengthen their teamwork and communication skills, enhance environmental and social awareness, and inspire the development of innovative solutions to address environmental and social challenges.

Teams shortlisted from the Bootcamp will join a separate visit to community partners

Teams that successfully advance must take part in the ideas validation activities, as well as the semi-final, final competition, and award ceremony.

Each team must consist of four members and one teacher advisor to guide the team members. Each participant can only be associated with one team.

Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification.

Activities Include:
1. Innovation Bootcamp and First Round

Mentorship
During the two-day Innovation Bootcamp, students will turn new skills—such as entrepreneurship and technology—into first-round proposals tackling environmental and social issues, while connecting with mentors and peers to boost confidence and leadership.
First Round Proposal: Outline the project concept, implementation strategy, and expected social impact.
2. Ideas Validation:
Teams shortlisted from the Bootcamp will join a separate visit to community partners to gather user insights, test feasibility, and validate their solutions with real-world feedback before entering the Semi-final.
3. Semi-Final, Final, and Award Ceremony
The teams will set up booths to present and undergo Q&A with cross-sector professionals to compete for awards.
Award Ceremony
Announce and present the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up for each track, along with other prizes.
Phase 3: MTR Local Exploration Tour
On-site visits to learn the core of MTR’s operations.
